Cancellation Policy
Terms and Conditions This Service Contract (“Contract”) is entered into by you, the Client, and The Happy Heat Pump, LLC (“Service Provider,” “We,” or “Us”), a Maine LLC. The Client and Service Provider (“Parties”) agree as follows: Services: Heat pump cleaning will be performed at the Client’s property. Services include cleaning interior and exterior components and waste disposal. Costs: The estimated cost is based on number of units and style and can be found on our appointment page here: Additional cleaning due to hidden conditions is billed at $100/hour, in 15-minute increments. Payment is due at service completion. We accept cash, check, Venmo, PayPal and credit/debit cards. Inspections: Fees are $50/unit for floor or wall units or $75/unit for ceiling cassettes and include checking for contamination, cleaning primary filters, and vacuuming condensate lines. Access: Access to your property is required. If you will not be present, please provide access + closing instructions in advance. Notify us if personal items need clearing under the units; assistance will be billed at the additional cleaning hourly rate of $100/hr billed each 15 minutes. Deposits: A 50% deposit secures your appointment. Cancellations/reschedules require 72 hours' notice for a full refund. Cancellations within 72 hours are non-refundable no exceptions. Final payment is due at service start. Limitations: We may refuse service for inaccessible units, models produced before 2018, or certain brands (e.g., LG, Samsung, self-installed units). We are not liable for unit malfunctions or performance issues after cleaning unless directly caused by our service. Performance Disclaimer: While cleaning may improve efficiency, we do not guarantee results. External factors like refrigerant levels, mechanical issues, poor installation, or drainage problems can impact performance. We do not offer diagnostics, repairs, or maintenance services. Liability: We perform services with diligence and industry standards but make no guarantee against future leaks or obstructions. Governing Law: This Contract is governed by Maine law. If any portion is invalid, the remaining terms remain enforceable. Entire Agreement: This Contract is the entire agreement between the Parties and can only be amended in writing by both Parties. Acknowledgment: By checking the box, you confirm you have read, understand, and agree to these terms.
